Modern Mr Darcy - Inspired Men's wear collection .

Hello & As'salaam Alaikum :)

The first collection made by me for mens wear for my college assignment is inspired by  Mr Darcy of pemberly <3

I couldn't think anyone apart from Chuck bass but still preferred to go vintage & design the range on Mr darcy sans the romantic era but wrapped in our fashion trend.

Strips : Assignment Time :)

Hellooo & Assalaam Alaikum

Working on new a new collection for my college assignment & as we were free to choose a theme so I opted for Strips as it is in trend for 2012.... & its my personal favorite :D

I still have to finalize it from my teacher (sketches , palette & pictures for mood board etc...) & then can make it in fair so this is just a rough out come :p
& i forget to mention the color palette is Neon along with black & white :D
(i dont know i am totally obsessed with NEON colors)

Alannah Hill -My Mood Board Muse.

Mood Board.

Just thought of sharing my work , this was the assignment I was working on , few days back.
hmmm sooo my mood board's muse is an Australasian designer Alannah Hill.
So my basically it is my interpretation on her & what is she according to me.

The girl who is inseparable from here head gears & her rouge lipstick , she has a very own style quotient which reflect's in her all collection which is flirty, sexy, girly ,dark ,pink & punk-ish 
She gives us all in one ;)

So now you wonder what we do with the mood board ?

It's simple we fashion student's make it as a part of our inspiration in process of making an collection.
Every object in my mood board is merged to make it compliment each other after spending an great amount of time I was able to produce this work & I am really happy with it. :)

Assallaam Alaikum & Hello'sss

So today I would like to display my art & love of heena or mehendi ,

Let give you a gist about Mehendi / Heena, it is extracted from plant's leave called Lawsonia Inermis its  botanical name & its generally known as Heena plant that where it gets it other name heena from.

Its natural form of beautification for men & ladies mostly & its mostly like temporary tattoo's  

My Mehendi Creation

I just love & adore the smell of Mehendi & the smell states atleast for 2 to 3 days. I still dont get it how ??? even if i use any perfume on it but later the smell of perfume goes but what remains in the end is the aroma of mehendi & some may disagree with me in regards of its aroma  (lol... but i jst love it...so you guys decide by yourself )

After applying mehendi takes half an hour to dry up once the mehendi is dried it start reacting with our skin & starts emitting color on the design from orange to darkest shade of brown accompanied by amazing aroma with it :) 

& for me its an amazing alternative for tattoos.. I learnt & practiced mehendi just soo that i can put to myself especially & I can apply mehendi on my both the hands (i am ambidextrous) so whenever its out I am ready to put it again ;)

Bridal style / Indian Style (my creation)

 Above design is designed & applied by me with Mehendi Cone.This mehendi style is callled bridal or indian style this is my favorite type of mehendi design. Its application takes time but its worth the trouble, it looks beautiful & covers the whole hand. This style is usually applied to Indian brides mostly for wedding.

Arabic design, this design is more like motif joined together to make a design (Above pic)

Mehendi design is mostly used on hand but now its widely being used as temporary tattoo on back, fore arms & arm , etc .& for more info about mehendi here's the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mehndi
