I lately was on a shopping spree with my friend's & happened to walk in guess & since that day & till now I am totally in love with the AMORE collection by Guess.

Amore mean's love in italian & the collection is really lovely & goes with the name

"Its totally love..love for me & I hope my father feels love..love for me soo then I can grab one lol" :p

Alannah Hill -My Mood Board Muse.

Mood Board.

Just thought of sharing my work , this was the assignment I was working on , few days back.
hmmm sooo my mood board's muse is an Australasian designer Alannah Hill.
So my basically it is my interpretation on her & what is she according to me.

The girl who is inseparable from here head gears & her rouge lipstick , she has a very own style quotient which reflect's in her all collection which is flirty, sexy, girly ,dark ,pink & punk-ish 
She gives us all in one ;)

So now you wonder what we do with the mood board ?

It's simple we fashion student's make it as a part of our inspiration in process of making an collection.
Every object in my mood board is merged to make it compliment each other after spending an great amount of time I was able to produce this work & I am really happy with it. :)
Will put the collection later when I am done rendering my croquis

Stephane Rolland Haute Couture S/S 2012: My take :)

As-sallam Alaikum & Helloo

Lately was doing my research for an assignment came across an amazing collection from Stephane Rolland for spring summer 2012 . 

His this collection is an amazing piece of work in detail & finish too, & totally justifying it by calling "Couture" wear.

Blanc

Colors

The color's used in his collection is White ,Black ,Red & neon Green.

Ruffles

Is what I really like about the collection, ruffles are used in a very innovate way, the placement of ruffles are very smart yet creative some placement of ruffle looks like paper folded & stuck on to the garment. :p

Noir 

Metal 

The embellishment used on the garment is metallic from waist belt to corset body to clutches bag to   embroidery.

Embroidery with metallic elements are very beautifully merged with ruffles. Must say a unusual combo used together.

The collection was inspiring to me as a fashion student & surely must be a delight for other Fashionista's :)
